professional potato and blogger interviews

Outfit Details:
Dress: Red Light Vintage
Cardigan: Thrifted
TOMS: Gift (Did you know kids sizes are $20 cheaper?! Yay for small feet!)

So something you should know about me: I suck at being a teenager.
I don't eat my weight in junk food, I don't party, I don't like to cuss, I prefer to dress like a grandmother, and hate staying up late.

I LOVE to stay home and watch reruns of Doctor Who, Community (Inspector Spacetime, anyone? Anyone?! Bueller? ) and 30 Rock. And I'm getting into Top Gear. It's unhealthy. And I want to play Diablo 3 so bad so you can bet I'll be taking over my brother's fancy gaming laptop when I get back to AZ next week.
If I go out, it's for one of two things- 1)eating or 2)shopping. And I go full on cray with the latter. It takes me a good hour or more to look at the whole store, then I pick what I want. It's a process. This is who I am.

Hopefully there are more anti-teenagers in this world, or I'm done for.

UPDATE: I'm gonna be starting a bi-weekly (?)  blogger spotlight/interviews for the summer and we'll see how it goes! If you're interested , please don't hesitate to contact me at: soychild[AT]gmail[DOT]com and we'll figure something out, yo*!

*I say 'yo' a lot. I'm not sorry.

  1. Ha, I was definitely a not-teenage too! I didn't check facebook every 10 minutes, hated football, never went to parties, and didn't watch tv. Now I'm not a teenager anymore, so I guess I'm allowed to not do what the rest of my generation is doing?

  2. I still haven't grown out of being a teenager really but the wisdom that comes with being 21 tells me it's more interesting and enjoyable to be yourself. I liked nothing more than a cup of tea and a bit of Murder She Wrote!

I'm sorry I haven't commented for a while but Silver Linings is back in the blogosphere now and I'd love your opinion on the new design :)

  3. i knowingly laughed and reminded myself why we're best friends as i read this post... :) you sounded so official with your legitimate oregon-vintage-store outfit details. also, i fit your description of a non-teen perfectly, besides the whole junk food thing. we both know what happens there. however, you did forget to mention how much you LOVE cheesy movies like soul surfer and monte carlo, easy mistake, it's okay. and "full on cray," i laughed out loud. anyways, i miss you. come to utahrd. goodbye, yo. <-- guess who i am? :)
