Yesterday...

Was a very 'get things done' day.
I made: two skirts, two necklaces, and a purse!

I've been so afraid of not getting the construction right, I never did it. But then I tried it, and voila! I made one to sell, and one for myself. The blue gingham is really Dorothy-esque, no?

I also spent yesterday watching Flower Drum Song, a musical about Chinese immigrants and westernization.



A bit racist... but cute nonetheless. :D

Made in the 60s, Rodgers and Hammerstein made this musical really funny and loveable.
