So I was reading a book about Audrey Hepburn last night, and read that Ralph Lauren was good friends with her. I figured, if he was some influence on Audrey or vice versa, his collections would be appealing in some way. I was right. This collection was inspired by the Dust Bowl and the hardworkers of America, this idea was brought on by the current economic recession.
Clever, Ralph, clever.
The lovely blues, floral sundresses, pantsuits, denim- all nods to the amazing thirties.
