Serious Procrastination Denial Yields Cute Headbands!

eughghhsfaidsaoetfh. I have to take the ACT again this weekend and haven't studied once. I know I'm being a drama queen, but the first time I took it was probably the worst experience of my life. More universally horrible than waiting in line at the DMV.
Yeah. That bad.

I shouldn't have tried to retake it. 29 is good enough, why did I waste $50?! WHY, WHY MUST YOU BE SO DRIVEN, HM?! But it just goes to show how senioritis really has taken its toll on me. The first thing I do when I get home is either: take a nap, watch Glee/Community/30 Rock, knit/crochet, or blog. I think I have forgotten how to do homework and prioritize, which is a major issue. But hey, I see this as a year of relaxation before my life turns to college exams, all-nighters, and Four Lokos.

So I just knit all day now. I have so much scrap yarn from previous years and a good collection of crochet hooks and knitting needles- it makes sense, really. I'm working on a third one and definitely a few more for the trip to Washington. It's so cozy, I'm thinking about selling them (even if there's a buttload of them on Etsy already).

Love and Lethargy, Soy.

  1. Oh man, I think we have the same life...except I refuse to retake the ACT (I got a 29 too). Really though. We're like, long lost twins or something, haha. I always do my homework the morning its due, instead catching up on all my DVRed TV.
And, yes yes sell on Etsy!!

  2. Well, now that we're on the subject of long lost twins...

I am freaking enchanted by Queen. I wasn't going to comment your blog a second time because then I would bombard it with comments like 'NO WAY, I FREAKING LOVE THEM TOO' and stuff. But yeah, Freddie Mercury is a moustached minstrel. :{D
