summer entry 3- colored pictures!

I found these pictures on Yahoo! News and these super rare full color photos are from the 1940s. I didn't even know there was technology to take these color pictures back in the day and I just had to share them with you! I always imagine the 40's as black and white, so it's really weird seeing these in such a vibrant color- like it could happen today! I would be absolutely thrilled if everyone would wear their hair in victory rolls or pin curls, but alas, times have definitely changed! 

It won't stop me from doing them though..
